Cathedral of the Assumption

Richard served as the project executive, estimator, and manager of the complete historical preservation and restoration of the façade, tuckpointing, and stone replacement. This project also included structural support of the existing tower in preparation for the steeple to be removed, and a completely new structural steel steeple clad in copper with a new copper spire, along with the holy cross clad in 24 carat gold leaf. The high level of finishes and reuse of historical artifacts provide unique details to this project. This project also afforded us the opportunity to coordinate both parish and CHF requirements at that time.
