Project Details

Frazier Rehab & Neuroscience Center was a complex project on a restricted urban site that added 10 stories above an existing five-story rehabilitation facility, all completed without disrupting ongoing operations. The Frazier Center is a critical addition to Louisville’s healthcare rehabilitation and research community, and a nationally recognized facility.

The project scope encompassed the construction of a rehabilitation facility on a restricted urban site above an existing five-story rehab facility. The existing facility remained in use throughout the construction of the new structure. The new building was constructed by erecting towers on the north and south ends of the existing facility and then adding 10 new stories above the existing five without relying on any of the existing facility's structure for support. As the Senior Project Manager for the Program Manager, Richard’s responsibilities included: cost control, maintaining the schedule, coordinating the owner's equipment, bonds, and direct purchases.
