In order to address the modern needs of this urban campus and its new tenants, Banta CMC and their consultants needed to rapidly program, develop and design a comprehensive renovation plan for the building envelope and surrounding grounds. The primary goal of the modernization was to upgrade all of the major building systems, including the replacement of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems along with all new finishes, flooring, ceilings and walls. The project also replaced all exterior windows and storefronts with low E, gas-filled, high-efficiency units. The site was reconfigured with additional parking and landscaping for increased parking capacity, while maintaining attractive landscaped grounds with a park-like feel.
